Course 1

Level 1: Bootcamp for Technicians

This foundational course is designed for individuals new to neurofeedback who want to become technicians. Participants will gain essential skills in system setup, troubleshooting, and session management, preparing them to operate SYMMETRY Neuro-PT systems and conduct qEEG brain maps, neurofeedback and emWave HRV sessions confidently.

Level 1: Bootcamp for Technicians

Approximately 5-6 hours of independent online training.

2 days of in-person, hands-on training with a SYMMETRY

Certified Technician Trainer (5 hours each day).

Online exam with no time limit; 80% passing score required (retakes allowed).

Certificate awarded upon completion.

Team pricing available for up to 3 technicians (+ travel expenses).

Course 2

Level 2: Bootcamp Mentorship Practicum

This mentorship-based practicum builds on foundational knowledge and skills from level 1, providing hands-on guidance for technicians to deepen their expertise in SYMMETRY Neuro-PT system management and client care. Participants receive personalized mentorship and advanced training in real-world applications.

Prerequisite: Completion of Level 1 certification.

Level 2: Bootcamp Mentorship Practicum

Prerequisite: Level 1 certification 15 hours of direct mentorship including 10 hours of observation.

Requires at least six months of active experience as a neurofeedback technician.

Focus on advanced system operations, troubleshooting, and client case management.

Certificate awarded upon completion.

Course 3

Level 3: Case Management

Designed for experienced technicians, this course builds advanced skills in neurofeedback case management. Participants will learn to analyze qEEG brain maps, customize protocols, and manage complex client cases effectively.

Prerequisite: Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, plus one year of SYMMETRY Neuro-PT system experience.

Level 3: SYMMETRY Case Management Course

Prerequisite: Level 1 and Level 2 certifications, plus one year of SYMMETRY Neuro-PT system experience.

Duration: 2-3 hours of online, self-paced learning and discussions.

Skills in qEEG brain map analysis and customized protocol adjustments.

Certification awarded upon course completion.

Course 4

Level 4: Advanced Case Management

This intensive course is designed for certified technicians who have completed Levels 1-3 and want to master advanced case management skills in neurofeedback. Participants will engage in-depth with complex case review, protocol adjustments, and live mentorship.

Level 4: Advanced Case Management

Prerequisite: Levels 1-3 certifications.

15 contact hours with mentor; 10 hours must include direct observation.

Covers review of qEEG brain maps, session results, and case reviews.

Includes 1-2 days of in-person, hands-on training.

80% passing score required on Practicum Exam.

SCN Certification awarded upon completion.

This course is designed for marketing teams, therapists, office staff, and professionals who need to effectively communicate the benefits of neurofeedback to clients and colleagues. It’s ideal for those who may not run sessions but play a crucial role in explaining and promoting the service.
